Every tool on Filehinge is free. No account, no daily cap, no watermark, no paid tier hiding the good features. That will not change.

Running Filehinge costs money: the domain, hosting, and the hours that go into new tools. If a tool saved you time, you can pay what you want. Any amount helps, and paying does not add any feature. Everyone gets the same Filehinge.
The contribution page opens soon. Until then, telling one person about Filehinge helps just as much.
Payments run on the payment provider's own page, in a new tab. Filehinge never sees your card details, and no payment code loads on the tool pages.
About ads
Contributions alone rarely cover the bills, so some pages may show a small ad. Ads never cover the editor, never pop up, and never sit between you and the Save button.
On pages where you work with files, an ad runs inside an isolated frame loaded from a separate address. The browser does not let that frame read the page, so it cannot see your files. Your files still never leave your device. You can check this in the Network tab, the same way as always.
Other ways to help (all free)
- Tell a friend or a colleague who still uploads files to random converters.
- Link to Filehinge from your blog, wiki, or resource list.
- Report a file that did not convert correctly to [email protected]. A broken sample is worth more than a donation.
